This can also include dealing with planning applications, investment portfolio management, financing, and landlord and tenant litigation.

The Firm is instructed by a diverse range of clients, including those from the investment sector, developers, lenders and end users, such as retail and corporate occupiers, as well as private individuals. Our team deals with transactions of varying sizes, with differing timescales and degrees of complexity. Examples of recent transactions include:

  • assisting with the negotiation of a s106 Agreement in order to procure planning permission on land, ahead of its sale to a housing association for a price in excess of £17,000,000;

  • the purchase of a multi-let office block for £19,500,000 and its subsequent refinancing with a High Street bank for circa £10,000,000; 

  • acting on the £12,000,000 sale of long leasehold commercial premises for development, subject to leases and subject to planning,  with additional complex put and call options;

  • the transfer and refinancing of a £30,000,000 Central London investment portfolio; 

  • the granting of leases to a major supermarket chain in Central London locations with a total annual rent in excess of £500,000;

  • the sale of 120 convenience stores to a major retailer for a sum in excess of £50,000,000;

  • the purchase of 80 retail newsagents spread all over England and Wales;

  • a refinancing of a client’s warehouse premises (for a sum in excess of £5,000,000);

  • the purchase of long leasehold office premises in the heart of Central London for £3,500,000.
