Salma qualified as a solicitor in 1990. Before joining the Firm in 2003, Salma worked both in private practice, and in-house, first at a bank and then at an insurance company.

Salma has considerable commercial and property litigation experience in the County Court, high court and court of appeal. She has been involved in several reported cases involving professional negligence, disputed solicitors’ costs and diplomatic immunity, which are listed in the Commercial Litigation page. As an in-house solicitor, Salma was involved in the landmark cases of South Australia Asset Management Corporation -v- York Montague Ltd and Banque Bruxelles Lambert SA v Eagle Star Insurance Co Ltd.

Salma deals with a variety of contentious matters involving professional negligence and general commercial litigation. Salma also handles the Firm’s Employment Law cases.
